PT Fit Jerusalem is a fitness based physical therapy practice and boutique Pilates and fitness-based studio providing rehabilitation and fitness services. I am a physical therapist who is passionate about the mind and body healing power of exercise and fitness utilizing the Pilates principles in order to offer a unique and professional approach of its application to rehabilitation and regaining new insight into healing and well-being. My mission is to restore my patient’s quality of life and improve my client’s level of fitness by providing the highest standard of physical therapy care, professional Pilates, and fitness training.

Physical Therapy
The rehabilitation services include a wide range of manual and movement therapy techniques. Manual treatment methods such as massage, joint mobilization, and myofascial release are provided to alleviate pain and promote healing while therapeutic exercises are prescribed to restore movement and functional activity. Post-rehabilitation transition should require safe exercise selection, instruction, and progression. The ability of a seasoned physical therapist is to understand the right timing for progression with safety.

Pilates rehabilitation
One on one sessions are offered ranging from restorative therapy to advanced fitness. The studio is furnished with Balance Body and Stott equipment with a treatment room that is dedicated to massage and manual therapy to promote maximum healing. Spine Rehabilitation and core conditioning are a central focus of the practice. Pilates, McKenzie, and exercise programs manage conditions such as sciatica, herniated disc, osteoporosis, and post -surgery. Pilates programs are offered as well to pre- and post-natal clients to address concerns such as diastasis recti, incontinence, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Pilates-based exercises are used to provide effective movement therapy and rewarding results.

At PT Fit Jerusalem the fitness clients recognize the value of professional training under the guidance of an experienced physical therapist. Customized exercise programs ranging from gentle restorative sessions to high energy and sports performance workouts that challenge the clients to their peak performance and personal goals. Sport specific training is offered to help promote trunk strength and rotation, for example tennis and basketball. Variability with exercises will promote function in all aspects of daily living.
Transitioning from rehabilitation to fitness after an illness or injury requires careful exercise selection and a gradual plan of progression that is implemented by a trained and experienced physical therapist.
